Facilities

Staying in our camps

Staff in our camping areas will have access to washrooms, hot shower facilities, along with basic cooking equipment, and a common eating area. Each camp features a large walk in fridge with individual locking compartments for staff. Safe drinking water is supplied.

If you have received your acceptance of employment (first of all, welcome!), then you can reserve a campsite for $250.00, payable via Paypal, for the entire picking season. For all camp fee cancellations, there is a $50 administration/processing fee, and any cancellations that occur after July 1st will be processed in late September.

Unfortunately, we cannot host individuals in our accommodations who are not actively employed with us.

Home Farm

Lake Country

Our Home Farm Camp is located in Lake Country, walking distance to beaches on Okanagan Lake. It offers shady campsites, covered common areas, and spots to park your van or trailer. Wifi access is available. It also has an adjacent parking lot for those bringing vehicles. This camp houses around 150 pickers during our season.

Staff staying at Home Farm will do a large portion of their picking on site, all within walking distance of the camp. However, throughout the season there will be days where it is necessary for us to bus our Home Farm picking staff to other orchard sites in the valley, allowing us to keep up with the maturity of the fruit.

Cholla Hills

Vernon

Centrally located within of the cherry blocks at Cholla Hills, this camp area is also within driving distance to a public beaches on Okanagan and Kalamalka Lakes. Limited wifi access is available.

Most of our orchard and dormitory sites are not located within walking distance of city centres or public transportation access. We provide free, weekly bus transportation to staff staying with us in order to access grocery shopping and local services.
